Recruitment

The St. Paul Fire Department actively recruits outgoing individuals to join a group of professional firefighters on a yearly basis.

Recruitment starts in October of every year with the selected individuals starting in January of the New Year.

The recruitment process requires people to come to the St. Paul Fire Hall and pick-up an application form. All the candidates will be brought in for an interview at a later date.

Prerequisite include the following:

  • Minimum 19 years of age
  • Valid Class 5 Alberta Drivers Licence
  • Meet the physical and medical fitness requirements established by the Fire Dept
  • Criminal background check maybe required
