Trevor is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed by the Town of St. Paul as the Director of Protective Services & Fire Chief. Trevor joined the department as a volunteer in August of 1990 and is currently 1001, 1021, 1041, 1051 & 1521 certified. He also has a degree in Fire Service Management. Trevor enjoys being a member of the department because he enjoys serving the community for the common good. “ What makes it more enjoyable is that I’m surrounded by 38 other individuals that feel the same.“
Outside the fire service Trevor is married to his lovely wife Tracy, they each have 2 children and 2 step children. When not spending his many hours at the firehall or at calls Trevor enjoys to be playing golf.
Henry is originally from Heinsburg, Alberta. He is currently employed by the St. Paul Fire Department as Deputy Chief. Henry joined the department as a volunteer in March of 1995 & is currently NFPA 1001 Firefighter, 1002 Apparatus Operator, 1051 Wildland Firefighter, 1021 Fire Officer Level 1, 1041 Fire Instructor Level 1 & 2, 472 HazMat, And 1006 Technical Rescue Awareness and Rope Rescue 1 certified. He enjoys being a member of the department because of all the individuals he has gotten the opportunity to meet and learn from over the years. One thing that Henry learned from joining the fire service is that whether the firefighter be career, paid on call or volunteer; all are professionals.
Outside the fire service, Henry and his lovely wife Vicky have 2 sons and 2 daughters. Henry is also a grandpa to 6 grandchildren. In the spring and summer Henry can be found coaching or umpiring softball. “ A bad day on the ball field is still better than a good day anywhere else.“
Ben is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed at Lakeland Chevrolet Buick GMC as a Service Technician. Ben joined the department in October of 2000 and is currently 1001, 1002, 472 & 1041 certified & has begun the 1006 program. Ben has risen to the rank of Asst. Chief. He is also a Red Seal Automotive Mechanic & Grand Master Technician through GM.
Outside the fire service Ben is married to his lovely wife Leah & they have 3 children . He enjoys spending his time camping & snowmobiling.
Dave is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed by the County of St. Paul as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. Dave joined the department in January of 2015 and is currently 1001 & 1051 certified & a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because of the opportunity to make valuable contribution to the community and “to play with the fire trucks”. Dave has learned how diverse the group is and how the fire service attracts people from all kinds of paths in life.
Outside the fire service Dave and Cassandra have two children. He enjoys spending his time with friends and family. His interests include watching hockey and football & playing video games.
Brad is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed by MD Foundation as a Building Maintenance Technician. Brad joined the department in January of 2007 and is currently 1001, 1002 & 1041 certified & has begun the 1006 program. He is also a Red Seal Carpenter and a Locksmith. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because of the camaraderie, the sense of belonging to another family, the opportunity to network within and with other departments and to serve his community . Brad has learned since joining that there is an immense amount of training available.
Outside the fire service Brad is married to his lovely wife Oralee, they have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys spending his time hunting, camping & landscaping. “ Through hard work & dedication, we serve the community in so many other ways than just fighting fires. I am proud to be a pillar of support for the community.”
Stephen is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed at Zarowny Motors as a Automotive Technician. Stephen joined the department in January of 2013 and is currently 1001, 1002 & 1041 Level 1 certified & a Red Seal Mechanic. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because “ It’s like having a second family that you can always turn to when you need them “ & because you get to learn and experience new things. Stephen has learned that there is an incredible amount of training and preparation and that’s its not simply jumping on a truck and putting a fire out.
Outside the fire service Stephen is currently married to his lovely wife Chelsea and they have 1 daughter. He enjoys spending his time hunting, quadding, playing baseball & hockey.
Paul is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed at the Town Of St. Paul as a Recreational Facility Operator. Paul joined the department in March of 2000 and is currently part # 1, 3, 4 certified. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because he’s always learning new techniques of the trade and being able to pass on his knowledge to others. It never ceases to amaze the advancements and changes that have come in the last 2 decades.
Outside the fire service Paul is currently single and enjoys spending his time hunting and fishing. Paul also occupies a lot of time helping out with the Jr B Canadiens.
Dwight is originally from Hinton, Alberta. He is currently employed as a Field Operator for CNRL. Dwight joined the department in January of 2009 and is currently 1001, 1002, 1051, 1041 Level 1 certified and has taken the Ice water Rescue and Low slope Rescue courses. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because of the many friendships he has developed and the comradery amongst the membership.
Outside the fire service Dwight & his lovely wife Diane have 3 children, 2 have graduated and the last will graduate this year. In his spare time Dwight enjoys being outdoors, camping quadding and spending time with family and friends.
Andre is originally from Mallaig, Alberta. He is currently self employed in the construction industry. Andre joined the department in January of 2013 and is currently 1001 certified. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because of the sense of being a part of the community, along with learning all the new skills & being part of the SPFD family. He has learned after joining the department how much training there is to make us the best firefighters we can be.
Outside the fire service Andre is married to his his lovely wife Chantelle. In his spare time Andre enjoys camping, sledding and going golfing.
Jeremy is originally from St. Paul, Alberta. He is currently employed by Lakeland GM as a Journeyman Automotive Technician. Jeremy joined the department in January of 2015 and is currently 1001, 1002 & 472 certified. Jeremy enjoys being a member of the department because he enjoys giving back to the community, the training and experiences and the new friendships made. Jeremy learned after joining the department the amount of commitment the members give to the service and “ Tonnes of fireground knowledge“.
Outside the fire service Jeremy is single & he enjoys spending time playing sports, mostly hockey and baseball. Otherwise in his spare time he can be found quadding or sledding.
Adrien is originally from St. Lina, Alberta. He is owner/operator of Christensen IT Consulting. Adrien joined the department in 2015 and is currently 1001, 1002 certified, he has also started the 1006 & 1051 program along with being a Certified Electronic Technician & having a Computer Repair Certificate. Adrien enjoys being a member of the department because he enjoys the sense family from the other members, also he likes being able to help the community in its time of need.
Outside the fire service Adrien along with his lovely wife Katrina have 2 children. He enjoys spending his time with family, working out, reading & playing video games.
Travis is originally from Athabasca, Alberta. He is currently employed by the County of St. Paul as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Travis joined the department in January of 2017 and is currently 1001, 1002, 1051 and working on his 1006 certification. He enjoys being a member of the fire department because of learning all the new skills & being part of the SPFD family.
Outside the fire service Travis is common law with his partner Janelle, have 2 children. In his spare time Travis enjoys camping, quading, coaching baseball and spending time with friends and family.
